Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney was born Amal Alamuddin of Lebanon is a Lebanese and British barrister who has served as an activist for human rights for many years. She is a graduate of Oxford University School of Law and New York University School of Law. Her extensive profession has earned her international recognition for her achievements in international law and in the realm in human rights. She has acted for a variety of high-profile nation states, among them Armenia who were fighting to get her to convince the Turkish government to acknowledge that there was an Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney fell in love with and later married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household word in popular art and culture. Prior to that, she had gained a lot of recognition in legal circles and was respected by her capacity to defend clients. Her practice spans several areas such as social justice and human rights, to representing multinational companies in negotiations or litigating cases concerning laws and regulations from the government. Barrister is currently her title or lawyer who works in British court.
