Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She's now a Romanian/German actress. Her most well-known movies include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Born as the only daughter to Romanian actor Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered the showbiz world early and was acting in lead roles on various television dramas by the time she reached the age of 16. The Oscar-nominated film Downfall, her role as the Secretary Traudljunge of Adolf Hitler was also highly praised. The other Oscar nominated film starring the diva include The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex. Alexandra is engaged in numerous important projects both locally as well as internationally.
